  • What age group do you teach?
    I offer private volleyball lessons for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether the athlete is a beginner or looking to refine their skills, I tailor each session to meet their specific needs.
  • Where do the lessons take place?
    Lessons are held at the DuPage County Fairgrounds, 2015 Manchester Road, Wheaton.
  • What should I bring to the lesson?
    Players should wear comfortable athletic clothing, proper volleyball shoes, and bring a water bottle.
  • How long is each lesson?
    Standard lessons are 60 minutes, 90 and 120 minute sessions are offered upon request.
  • What skill levels do you teach?
    I teach players of all skill levels, from beginners learning the basics to advanced players seeking to fine-tune their technique. Each lesson is customized based on the player’s experience and goals.
  • How many lessons will I need?
    The number of lessons depends on the player’s current skill level and goals. Some players may improve with just a few sessions, while others may benefit from ongoing lessons. After the first lesson, I can offer guidance on how many sessions are recommended.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee.
  • How do you tailor lessons to my needs?
    I assess each player’s current skill level and goals during the first session. From there, I create a personalized lesson plan focusing on areas such as serving, passing, setting, hitting, and overall volleyball strategy.
  • Am I required to have previous volleyball experience?
    No experience is required! I work with beginners and can help you build a strong foundation in the sport. For more advanced players, I focus on improving specific skills.
  • Can I observe my child’s lesson?
    Yes, you are welcome to observe the lesson from the sidelines. However, to ensure your child is fully engaged, I recommend limiting distractions during the session.
  • What if my child is nervous or shy about starting lessons?
    That’s completely normal! I create a supportive and encouraging environment where players feel comfortable and confident. I’ll help your child progress at their own pace, focusing on positive reinforcement.
